The Truth About the Smart Grid and Why It Is Not So Smart
Stephen E. Williams, CEO
The business aspect of an electric utility, or any utility for that matter, is the customer paying a bill based upon how much of a service the customer consumed for a specific period. Logically, a metering device is necessary for that measurement.
Instead, what we are proposing and what our technology does is reinvent how utilities generate revenue by opening up new business channels such as a more efficient broadband network using our technology as a virtual right of way which also opens up integration of technologies for smart home, and communications. On top of this, we can mitigate energy theft which costs utilities $5- $34 per customer per billing period. Just that alone would be a sizeable improvement in profits and yet there are many more.

Sound Solutions While Creating Large Income On Assets!
Stephen E. Williams, CEO
Utilities seem to understand their business is a zero-sum game. The pie does not grow unless the number of customers grow (development, new business, population shifts, etc.) and that growth cannot be directly influenced by the utilities. What many say correctly, I think, is new consumer-based technologies like LED lighting, energy efficiencies, and solar or batteries, smart panels those technologies do not add to the profitability of a utility company.

Quick Thoughts and Suggestions to Improve Our Grids and Communications
Stephen E. Williams, CEO
Friends, some quick thoughts, and suggestions to improve our grids and communications and have more power when needed.
Unless you can uniformly deploy technologies to all customers and control all electric circuits with intelligent knowledge and diagnostics then you will not make much headway and or big new income. (this data is protected for customers)

The Electric Industry and The Future
Stephen E. Williams, CEO
For the past few years, we have been posting information on other platforms regarding our consumer side utility infrastructure technology. You will likely be curious enough to investigate more about what my company CoolWaters Energy Technology does. I do want to talk about some troubling observations I have seen regarding corporate leadership and how it is embracing bureaucratic philosophies with regards to innovation.
The electric utility industry is not like the high-tech industry, but it should be. With high-tech, there is real innovation and only through innovation can these businesses survive, thrive and grow. Earlier this year, Warren Buffett, someone who understands the economics of energy, gave the utility industry “two thumbs down.”

What Is The AIS and What Does It Do For You?
Stephen E. Williams, CEO
The AIS (Advanced Infrastructure System) is an advanced Energy and Communication Management system. It operates in the home or business replacing the legacy metering system and electrical panel.
The AIS adds features beyond the legacy meter like multi-channel broadband for utilities and all their customers, residential or commercial, in one seamless package. It is a smart, all digital, programable, communication circuit breaker system, and prioritized circuit level submetering energy management system that includes high-speed communication system and more.

Attention – Home Developers, Builders & Associations!
Stephen E. Williams, CEO
Builders have told us their customers and potential customers are afraid of losing electrical power from power providers.
Everyone with common sense is concerned about having power when they need it. So, builders and developers can enable changes that benefit them and their customers. We can help with your support.
The US Department of Energy has even stated reliability is getting worse with no plausible end in sight with continued higher rates.

Are Our Electric Power Grids, Today’s Dinosaurs?
Stephen E. Williams, CEO
NOTE-Today we do not use Ford Model Ts, so why are we using the equivalent in our important power grids??
I am sorry if being direct offends you, but it is past time to fix these issues, and you need to buck up and get the job done. If you have thoughts on how we get power utilities into the 21frst century, please let me know?
Sadly, power utilities live in the past and doing so has not helped to mitigate deaths, damage, and higher costs that smart common-sense innovation would have greatly avoided. How can you even claim you are doing a proper job with your electric power utilities when your service to customers is on or off without controls and service is becoming less reliable as reported by DOE and others!

Revolutionary Electric Grids – The Astounding Massive Failures To Accomplish Sound Grids!
Stephen E. Williams, CEO
Using old grid models is like driving a Model T car today. Our AIS (Advanced Infrastructure System) is going from the Model T of the past to the new vehicles of today and tomorrow. The AIS upgrades old grids to state-of-the-art and reliable systems. If the AIS does not create what I am stating, then it costs you nothing at all. Which do you want?
Utilities that can change their business model as they grow will be the most successful, reliable, and the ones making the greatest financial returns. As John R. Walter, past President of AT&T said, “When the pace of change outside an organization becomes greater that the pace of change inside the organization, the end is near.”
Friends, I am not trying to be disrespectful, but intelligent action is long overdue.

AIS ECOSYSTEM A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE FOR ALL GRID CUSTOMERS
CoolWaters Energy Technology’s team and I have deep experience in energy and making products that make a real difference. From Operating nearly all forms of energy types, building these energy systems and inventing many new first in class safer life empowering technology changes.
Most everyone has products made from hardware and software our team has invented!!
The massive challenging part is building a needed and a unique multi use product from scratch to solve major grid energy and communication issues with your own money and time. Then building a world class effective team and then making it through all required testing protocols and to market.

Costly Dangers of a Grid with Less Reliability
Stephen E. Williams, CEO
Grids Are Becoming More Costly And Less Reliable
Electrical Grid Failures Are Getting Worse
I’m sad to say our grids have not been evolving to maintain the country’s energy demand. Believe it or not, changes in technology and generation have made them less reliable. Brownouts and blackouts have become common place when they should be rare, if at all.
These real grid dangers have been realized in Texas and other places with many lost lives. It is inexcusable for our grids to be this poorly performing.
We can truly prevent these issues with the money you are already spending.

Safer Grids with Powerful Cost Saving Solutions…not Hype
Stephen Williams, CEO
Jim Beals, COO
I think many would be surprised how little has truly change in our electric grids since the early 20th century. Back then this was a massive achievement helping everyone to lessen their real life burdens.
Recently California had to deal with massive, self-inflicted, blackouts, depending on who you listen to they were due to everything from alternate energy (solar) to weather (heat wave). They were not due to equipment failure other than the failure to buy more equipment to support the demand.
